Hair mesotherapy delivers a tailored blend of vitamins, minerals and other nourishing ingredients into the scalp through a series of very fine micro-injections. The aim is to improve the scalp environment and support the follicles where hair is thinning.
It is a gentle, supportive treatment rather than a cure, and it is often used as part of a wider plan. We assess your scalp and the likely cause of your thinning first, then advise whether mesotherapy is worth including for you.
What does hair mesotherapy involve?
A fine needle delivers a nourishing solution into the mesoderm, the layer just beneath the surface of the scalp, across the thinning area. The blend is chosen to support the follicles and the scalp, and the treatment takes around half an hour with minimal downtime.
Most people return to their day straight afterwards, avoiding hair washing and vigorous exercise for the first 24 hours.
Who is hair mesotherapy for?
It can suit men and women with early or moderate thinning, a dry or stressed scalp, or hair that would benefit from extra support, sometimes alongside other treatments. It is not a replacement for a transplant where hair is already lost. A scalp assessment confirms whether it is likely to help.
How many sessions will I need?
Mesotherapy is usually given as a short course for the best effect, with occasional maintenance afterwards. We recommend a realistic number of sessions after assessing your scalp. Single-session and course pricing is shown below.

Does hair mesotherapy hurt?
Most people tolerate it well. The injections are very superficial and quick, and the scalp can be numbed with a topical anaesthetic beforehand if you prefer. Mild tenderness or redness afterwards is normal and settles within a day.
When will I see a difference?
It works gradually over a course rather than immediately. Many people notice the scalp feels healthier first, with any improvement in the hair building over the following weeks and months. Results vary, and maintenance helps sustain them.
Can mesotherapy be combined with other hair treatments?
Yes. It is often used alongside other regenerative treatments or as part of a plan around a transplant, to support the existing hair and scalp. We tailor any combination to your case at consultation rather than selling treatments in isolation.
