Male Hair Transplant in London

Restore a receding hairline or thinning crown with FUE hair transplantation, tailored to male pattern hair loss.

Finance available on the full cost, 0% APR up to £2,000 with Klarna (subject to status)

Male pattern hair loss usually shows first at the temples and crown. A hair transplant rebuilds these areas using your own permanent donor hair, designed around your face shape and age so the hairline looks natural now and in years to come.

A male hair transplant assessment at the Harley Street clinic
Your plan, graft count and technique are agreed in person, never rushed.

How is a receding hairline rebuilt?

We plan the new hairline with you, keeping it age-appropriate and slightly irregular at the front so it reads as natural rather than drawn on. Grafts are placed at the correct angle and density, with single hairs at the leading edge and grouped follicles behind for fullness.

Can a hair transplant fix a thinning crown?

The crown can be treated, though it often needs more grafts because of its whorl pattern and the way loss spreads outward. During assessment we balance your donor supply across the hairline and crown so the overall result is even and sustainable.

Is FUE or DHI used for men?

We use both, and match the technique to the case rather than selling one method. FUE, including the Sapphire variation, is efficient for larger areas, while DHI gives very precise control of angle and depth and does not require shaving the recipient area. Which suits you depends on the area, your hair and your goals, and we explain the choice clearly.

How natural will it look?

A natural result is about design, not just graft numbers. Placing single follicles at the hairline, matching your natural angles and avoiding an over-straight edge are what make a transplant undetectable. Careful planning around your face shape and age matters as much as the surgery itself, which is why every plan is made in person.

What is the recovery like?

Most men are back to desk work within a few days. There is some redness and small crusting for the first week to ten days, the transplanted hairs shed at a few weeks, and new growth begins from around three to four months. The full result builds over roughly twelve to eighteen months.

Who is this for?

Frequently asked questions

What age should I have a male hair transplant?

There is no single right age, but very early surgery can chase ongoing loss. We prefer a reasonably stable pattern so the transplant lasts. Younger men are still welcome to a consultation, where we may suggest maintaining existing hair first and planning surgery for the right time.

Will the transplant look obvious?

Not when planned well. Placing single follicles at the hairline, matching natural angles and avoiding an over-straight edge are what make results look undetectable. Careful design around your face shape is as important as the graft count, which is why every plan is made in person.

How long until I see the final result?

Transplanted hairs shed within a few weeks, then new growth starts around three to four months. Most men see meaningful change by six months and the full result by 9 to 12 months, as the hair thickens and matures.
