Regenerative hair growth treatment uses growth factors concentrated from a small sample of your own blood, then reintroduced into the scalp to support the follicles and the hair you still have. Because it uses your own biology, there is nothing foreign involved.
It is best seen as supportive rather than a cure: most suited to early or moderate thinning, and often used alongside other measures or a future transplant. Results build gradually and vary from person to person, so we assess your scalp first and are honest about what it can realistically do.
How does regenerative hair growth treatment work?
A small blood sample is taken and processed to concentrate the platelets and growth factors it naturally contains (this is the treatment sometimes referred to as platelet-rich plasma, or PRP). The concentrate is then introduced into the scalp across the thinning area, where the growth factors aim to support the follicles and the surrounding tissue.
The session takes under an hour, and most people return to normal activity the same day, avoiding vigorous exercise and hair products for the first 24 hours.
Who is it suitable for?
It tends to help most where thinning is early or moderate and there are still working follicles to support, in both men and women. It is not a substitute for a transplant where hair is already lost, and it is not right for everyone. A scalp assessment tells us whether it is worth doing in your case.

A course is usually recommended rather than a single session, because the effect builds over time, with maintenance sessions afterwards. Does regenerative hair growth treatment hurt?
Most people find it very manageable. The scalp can be numbed with a topical anaesthetic first, and the injections themselves are quick. You may feel mild tightness or tenderness for a day or so afterwards, which settles on its own.
When will I see results?
This is a gradual treatment, not an instant one. Reduced shedding often comes first, with any thickening building over several months as the course progresses. Results vary between individuals, and maintenance is usually needed to hold the effect.
Is it a permanent fix for hair loss?
No. It supports the hair you still have rather than curing the underlying loss, so ongoing maintenance is needed and pattern loss can still progress. For that reason we discuss it as part of a wider plan, which may include a transplant, rather than a standalone cure.
