Women's Hair Transplant in London

No-shave hair transplantation for women experiencing thinning, a widening parting or a high hairline, using the DHI technique.

Finance available on the full cost, 0% APR up to £2,000 with Klarna (subject to status)

Hair loss in women often looks different from male pattern loss. It tends to spread across the top of the scalp with a widening parting, rather than receding at the temples. Treatment starts by understanding why the hair is thinning, because the cause guides whether surgery, non-surgical care, or both, is right.

Am I a candidate for a female hair transplant?

Good candidates usually have a stable, healthy donor area at the back of the scalp and a defined area to treat, such as a high or uneven hairline or a thin parting. Diffuse thinning across the whole scalp can reduce donor reserves, so an in-person assessment is essential before recommending surgery.

Will my hair be shaved for the procedure?

No. Female hair transplants at our clinic use the DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) technique, which places grafts through your existing hair without shaving the area being treated. Many women are understandably concerned about shaving, and DHI lets you keep your length while the transplant heals discreetly.

How much is a female hair transplant?

A female hair transplant is £3,500 with FUE or £4,200 with DHI for up to 1,500 grafts, and £4,450 (FUE) or £5,150 (DHI) for a larger session. Many women choose DHI because it does not require shaving the recipient area, so the procedure stays discreet. You can spread the cost with Klarna at 0% interest up to £2,000, subject to status and eligibility (Klarna is the credit provider). Your exact plan is confirmed at a free consultation.

Frequently asked questions

What causes hair loss in women?

Common causes include female pattern hair loss, hormonal changes, traction from tight styling, stress, thyroid issues and low iron. Because the cause affects treatment, we assess your history and scalp before advising. Sometimes addressing an underlying factor improves things without surgery.

Can a hair transplant lower a high hairline?

Yes. Advancing or reshaping a naturally high hairline is one of the most requested treatments for women. Grafts are placed to soften and lower the frontal edge while keeping it natural, and the result frames the face without looking dense or artificial.

Is the recovery different for women?

Recovery is similar to men, with small scabs clearing in about 10 to 14 days and most people back to normal routines within a week. Longer surrounding hair often helps keep the treated area discreet during early healing.
